About the US and Canada Regional Chapters Committee

The US and Canada Regional Chapters committee provides resources and for coordination between regional chapters of SCGIS throughout the United States and Canada. This committee reviews applications for new chapters, ensures regular communication with chapter leads, promotes chapter activities in SCGIS communications, and respond to requests from chapters' leadership.

This committee is here to help anyone who wants to create a new chapter of SCGIS within the US and Canada get started. They also facilitate communication between the chapters and SCGIS members, with the goal to increase both chapter engagement and SCGIS membership throughout the United States and Canada.
